Hanwell ‘Romance’ Rosé 2021

Hanwell’s still dry rosé wine, made from Pinot red grapes grown at the Hanwell Wine Estate in South Nottinghamshire in 2021 & made into wine in South Nottinghamshire by international award winning maker Tony Skuriat, a true local wine! The name “Romance” follows the story of young love, depicted in our wine names.  From the early blushes to the romance of courtship. Tasting Notes With a luscious mid-pink hue, this dry rosé has notes of raspberry and redcurrant on the nose that develop into tart cranberry and crisp red apple flavours in the palate, ending with a refreshing fruity finish. Serving Suggestions This wine makes an excellent aperitif, especially on a warm summer’s evening.  It could also be served with poultry or salads or taken as an wonderful accompaniment to a picnic. To enhance the flavours of this wine we recommend it is served chilled, between 7 – 10oC. Storage:  The winemaker recommends this wine should be enjoyed within 2 years of purchase.
